I booked this car service for me and my friends to get from Cork to Waterford for a wedding. We went to Cobh for the day before being picked up and ended up running behind. I called Robin to let him know and he was so accommodating of our change in plans. He picked us up in exactly the right spot with water bottles, chargers, hand sanitizer, basically anything we needed. He stopped half way to encourage us to visit St. Mary’s in Youghal, which was so stunning and we never would have known to go there without him. Great service, excellent vehicle, great company. We recently had the pleasure of touring Ireland with an absolutely fabulous guide, and I can't recommend him enough! From the moment we started our journey, Robin made us feel welcomed and excited about the adventure ahead.

His extensive knowledge about Ireland's history, culture, and hidden gems truly brought the experience to life. He shared fascinating stories that made every landmark and landscape feel personal and significant.

What truly set him apart was his infectious enthusiasm and sense of humor. He kept the mood light and fun, making even the longest days enjoyable. He went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly, from personalized itineraries to accommodating our specific interests.

His dedication didn't stop during the day; he was available day and night to answer questions and provide recommendations. With his guidance, we discovered some of the most beautiful and lesser-known spots that we would have missed otherwise.

This review is a long time coming. I would have submitted a review as soon as we got home from our Ireland vacation, but we came home to two hurricanes and have been repairing our home ever since. I am finally taking a moment to write this review because I want to make it known Robin, from Lux travel, is most deserving of a five star rating. We were fortunate to be able to reserve a private driver, Robin, for my husband and I and two friends vacationing along with us. Robin is extremely conscientious, polite, and fun to be around. Robin arrived promptly every morning to bring us on our daily adventures. He was extremely familiar with great places to eat, tour and what places to stay away from. Robin‘s recommendations were always spot on and unknown to the every day traveler. The vehicle was extremely comfortable and clean and always supplied with hydration. What a lovely experience! We booked a car and driver for our recent trip to Ireland with friends. Robin arrived  in his immaculate Mercedes van to drive us for a leg of our trip. His knowledge of the area,  great suggestions, and professionalism made traveling so much easier and helped us avoid typical tourist mistakes. It was so relaxing not to have to navigate driving on the left, handling bags , or make any decisions other than what we wanted to see and do.

This fall (2024), my husband, myself and two friends decided we wanted to see multiple towns in Ireland, but were no longer interested in doing the driving ourselves.  I was lucky enough to find Scott and LuxTravel for a trip from Kilkenny to Kinsale.  We could not have been happier!  Robin arrived promptly to pick us up and offered local knowledge of the places we wanted to see along the way.  The car was spotless and roomy so that we each had plenty of room and a big window for sightseeing.  One of us had recently had surgery, so Robin made sure we didn't have far to walk during our tours.  I would highly recommend Robin (he is delightful!) and LuxTravel for your transfers and tours in Ireland.
